Skiing In the Reno Area

Squaw Valley Squaw Valley enjoys ample sunshine, 450 inches of average annual snowfall and open bowl terrain so expansive that locals are still trying to name it all! Skiers and snowboarders roam 4,000 acres of groomed runs, beginner meadows, mogul fields, 1/2 pipes and terrain parks, all overlooking the deep blue hues of Lake Tahoe. After riding the aerial cable car to "High Camp" (8,200 feet above sea level), guests choose from open-air ice-skating, a swimming lagoon and whirlpool spa, multiple dining options, sunbathing and even bungee-jumping.
